I started this blog when I was a naive first year press and ed student, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do in life, never mind photography. All I knew is I wanted to take photos. Funny enough, i’m not taking many photos anymore, I’ve been focusing on my writing and journalism skills, which I enjoy just as much. It’s just a little easier to sit, type and research then go out and take photos in the rain or snow or wind or all of the above. Anyhoo, I’ve decided I will use this blog to put my articles up that I’ve written and shot, I may just upload my new ones or maybe I’ll backdate all my articles on here. An archive of my writing and photography perhaps? 

I will continue to update the blog with the all important life updates (Masters? Traveling? BBC Apprenticeship? who knows…) but I’m going to try and keep it related to cool modified cars I find. Or own. Speaking of cars, I’ve had quite a few since the last update on here, these aren’t in chronological order; Subaru Legacy Gen 2, Nissan Silvia S12, Mk1 Honda Jazz (article inbound), Mk2 Golf, Saab 9-5, Vauxhall Frontera, Morris Minor, MK6 Ford Escort, Mercedes W202 and now a Volvo 960 3.0 24V. I also sold my Suzuki Alto Works which, as my friends would tell you, was my baby. I had to sell her just after I finished uni, I struggled to get a decent job and slowly got myself into debt, so it had to go… but I do still have the Nissan S12 Silvia and Volvo 960! 

The Volvo I recently bought and although it likes to drink (doesn’t everyone??) its been super reliable and I have done over a thousand miles so far with no issues! hopefully a very good parts getter / road trip car. Unfortunately it’s a saloon but I could still sleep in it. 

The Silvia I bought in first year, only a few month after my last blog post! and its been nothing but issues, I won’t bore you with it just yet but the low down is; three engine, three sets of wheels, two exhausts, three wiring looms, four ECUs and it still isn’t running. Next year though? Maybe? Probably not. 

One last thing, this blog is only for fun and mainly for me, so pretty please don’t judge the bad spelling and/or grammar! Thnks four undrstandin
