I Found a Photographer!

Welcome to my first ever blog! you’ll have to bare with my spelling, I’m dyslexic and autocorrect can only help me so much!

Today I decided to start some personal photography research (even though I should really be doing Uni work oops). As I was scrolling through Pinterest finding some new inspiration for my personal project Timeworn, I stumbled upon the photographer Christopher Doyle who is amazing to say the least, in fact he’s more known for his cinematography, although he got into photography first.

He was born in 1952 Sydney, and he moved to Hong Kong in the 70s as he found a love for the Chinese language and Chinese Art. Not long after he started doing film theatre, dance groups and photography in Taiwan.

But lets talk about his photography work, it’s beautiful, the colours in the film give it an underground, grunge type feel. The warm tones, lowlight and slowshutter are all hallmarks of his work. I should mention there is another photographer by the same name - his work is good but more commercial based, you can tell the difference instantly between the two. Anyway, please enjoy the collection of his work I have posted below!
